Three Piano Summit & Horns

Three pianists. Three musical backgrounds. Two horns. One stage.
The third concert in the Hua Hin Jazz Series presents the Three Pianos Summit & Horns—a distinctive meeting of three pianists whose musical identities have been shaped by different traditions: classical music, the expressive spirit of blues and the powerful energy of big-band jazz.
Joined by trumpet and trombone, the three pianists will explore the breadth of the jazz repertoire through solo performances, piano duets and full three-piano arrangements. The two horns add new sounds and musical possibilities, while contrasting techniques and personalities meet across the keys as musical ideas are introduced, answered and transformed throughout the performance.
More than a traditional piano concert, the Three Pianos Summit & Horns is a live musical conversation. Each pianist brings an individual approach, yet the most exciting moments emerge when they listen and respond to one another, with trumpet and trombone joining the musical exchange.
Expect technical brilliance, playful exchanges and spontaneous creativity in an evening celebrating the piano’s remarkable versatility within the world of jazz.
