Elder Blossom Hua Hin are delighted to launch a new concert initiative:
The Discovery Series.
This series is dedicated to introducing exceptional emerging artists to Hua Hin audiences, creating opportunities for talented young performers to share their artistry while building meaningful connections with listeners. We believe that supporting the next generation of musicians is essential to keeping classical music vibrant, relevant, and alive.
The inaugural concert in The Discovery Series features siblings Ethan and Sophie Gu in a captivating violin recital.
Experience an enchanting journey through the rich landscape of classical music with these remarkable young musicians. Their carefully curated program showcases both the virtuosity and emotional range of the violin. From the intricate architectural genius of Bach’s sonatas and the fiery, dramatic intensity of Ysaÿe’s solo masterworks, to the deeply lyrical melodies of the Romantic era, this performance promises an unforgettable evening of musical storytelling.
Audiences will witness the unique musical synergy of brother and sister as they move seamlessly between demanding solo works and collaborative performances. The program includes beloved masterpieces such as Massenet’s introspective Méditation from Thaïs, the passionate and expansive Brahms F.A.E. Sonata, and Shostakovich’s Five Pieces for Two Violins and Piano.
More than a concert, this evening celebrates both individual artistry and the deep musical bond shared by two young performers whose futures promise much.
As part of The Discovery Series, guests are warmly invited to remain after the performance for a Meet the Performers gathering. This informal reception offers a rare opportunity to speak directly with Ethan and Sophie, learn more about their musical journeys, ask questions about the repertoire, and encourage these talented young artists at an important stage in their development.
We hope this new series will become a platform where audiences can discover outstanding emerging talent, while helping young musicians gain the support, experience, and encouragement they need to flourish.
We invite you to join us for this special opening concert and to become part of a community that celebrates artistic excellence, curiosity, and the future of classical music.
