Swing, Bebop & Modern Jazz on Thursday, September 17

A new musical journey is about to begin. On 17 September, the opening concert of the Hua Hin Jazz Series brings together the Hua Hin Jazz Trio and their guests for an evening travelling from the irresistible pulse of swing through the adventurous energy of bebop to the freedom of modern jazz.

This is 'real listening jazz': music created in the moment by musicians who listen, respond and inspire one another. Expect bold improvisations, expressive melodies and spontaneous musical conversations in which every solo can lead somewhere unexpected. Jazz of this kind is never performed quite the same way twice; what happens on stage belongs to the musicians, the audience and that particular evening.

The seating will be relaxed and informal—neither a bar setting nor the rigid atmosphere sometimes associated with classical concerts. Come as you are, bring your friends, settle in comfortably and enjoy the music together.
